The profit reporting season is well underway. Here are the latest company reports

JB Hi Fi posted a 37.4 per cent jump in first half net profit to $151.7 million.

Aurizon’s net profit jumped 52 per cent in the six months ended December 31 to $281.5 million, up from $185.8 million in the corresponding period the year before. 

Global packaging company Amcor posted a 15 per cent rise in half-year net profit to $US329.7 million ($A461.6 million).

NBN Co, the responsible for the NBN rollout has reported its revenue for the six months to December 31 rising to $891 million, from $403 million a year ago.

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Ltd has reported first-half cash earnings rising about 11 percent to $225.3 million compared with $203.5 million a year ago.

Protective gloves and clothing supplier Ansell reported a 500 per cent plus rise in net profit of $US428.2 million ($A547.97 million) for the six months to December 31 on the back of a $US411.5 million gain on the sale of its sexual wellness business.
