Profit reportsIn what is basically the final week of the profit reporting season, the company reports were pouring in. Here are the latest results.

Bluescope Steel posted a net profit after tax of $353.8 million, up 160 per cent on the previous year.

Fortescue posted a net profit of $US984 million for the year through June, a 210 per cent increase.

Online jobs operator Seek reported a record profit of $357.1 million, up 27 per cent on the prior year.

Noni B more than doubled its net profit in the year ended June 26 to $2.21 million.

UGL posted a net loss of $106.27 million in the year to June 30.

NIB’s net profit for the year ended June 30 surged 22 per cent to $92.85 million from $75.8 million the year before.

APN Outdoor Group’s net profit in the six months ended June 30 jumped 51.6 per cent to $19.53 million.

GWA swung back into the black, posting a full-year net profit of $53.68 million, up from the year-earlier loss of $16.18 million.

South African backed property trust Growthpoint Properties Australia has posted a net profit to $224.3 million, up 20.8 per cent.

Supplier of health and beauty supplies and household products McPhersons posted a full-year net profit of $11 million, up 24.4 per cent.

Medical property owner Generation Healthcare REIT reported a 2016 net profit of $51.4 million, an increase of 64 per cent.
