Australia Post launches competitor to Amazon
With Amazon about to launch here, Australia Post has moved into that space with a delivery service for local retailers.

Australia’s Post’s Shipster offers free delivery from  over 40 of Australia’s biggest online stores including Booktopia, Myer, Target, Toys R Us and Cotton On.

Membership costs $9.95.

It offers free delivery on any purchase of $25 and over at participating stores.

It also offers free delivery of one Deliveroo order each month.

Australia Post Acting Managing Director & Group CEO Christine Corbett said the service had been launched just in time for Christmas.

“Shipster lets you shop with confidence knowing that there will be no surprises at the checkout,” Ms Corbett said.
